Look at the cute bunny behind the girls.....

Emily, Sadie and I at Lazy 5's ranch.... She's so cute!
Grandma & Grandpa were sure a big hit with the grandkiddos!
My girls sure like to travel in style! Look at them hitching a ride for free!
"I'm leaving on a jet plane, I don't know when i'll be back again, oh babe I love you so..."
Me getting up close and personal with the giraffe.... I mean somebody HAS to feed the animals :)

Grandpa and his little ladies.... all smiles!
Here in old Salem we went to a 200+ year old cookie and ice cream shop!
Here's Madison and I eating at the old Salem Tavern, delicious!

Uncle Mike and Aunt Emily were so great to let us stay for over a week with them! Thanks! We had so much fun! Here was a great barn in the background..... the scenery was amazing!
Here is Emily and Sadie at a rest stop during our 17 mile Virginia Creeper Bike Ride.... And YES I said 17 miles!!! It was easy/beautiful and well worth it. I totally recommend it!
Carys with many little Christmas trees in the background. The drive through Virginia had Christmas trees everywhere.
Some of our cute little travelers

Can you believe the beauty! The weather was perfect too!
Us at a rest stop on an old train

Enjoying the campus of Wake Forest with my most favorite flower, Hydrangea's.
It rained on and off all week, we loved it!

My little baby Carys is getting so big... she starts Kindergarten this fall!
Us girls in Salem

We were amazed by Uncle Mike's skills in the Kitchen! He was tossing the pizza dough and had us all mesmerized!

Madison in the Rain, "Raindrops are fallin on my head...."
Madsion and Carys helped Emily make the pizza dough, they were so cute in their aprons!

Sadie and her daddy on a lunch break at the park.
Swingin good times...

Grandma and Sadie, two pretty redheads!

Bath time was a night time highlight
Carys in the wheat, It started pouring rain 1 min. after we got there for the picture!
Cute strawberry patch, we had a ball picking the most delicious strawberries

the side of the road was beautiful too.... colorful wild flowers were everywhere
Here are more shots from Lazy 5 ranch. It was amazing, notice the pack of Lemurs in the background?!!!!! This ranch was almost 200 acres and had so many exotic animals. It's privately owned and all the animals are right there!!! You feed them/pet them while riding on a wagon!

Zebras....

Carys was lucky we had a live in Doctor among us..... here's Uncle Mike taking care of a scraped knee... so sweet!
Another highlight was stopping the ice cream man while on a walk in Mike and Emily's neighborhood. The girls couldn't believe someone would drive by with a singing truck and sell ice cream!

Thanks Evans' for a wonderful fun filled vacation in NC! We love you!

What fun and amazing pictures! You are so very brave to have gotten that close to a giraffe like that! (I would have been nervous just holding the leaves with my fingers). Love the bike rides with the kids and the strawberry picking. Actually, every one of those pictures looks like so much fun. Your girls are beautiful, and Emily and your brother's daughter is so cute too! You parents are stunning and I love how much you do together as a family. Awesome pics.

Wow! Looks like you had a lot of fun! And, if I'm not mistaken, it also looks like you've invested in an 50mm 1.8, is that correct? BEAUTIFUL photos! Your girls are the cutest.
