Dr. Michael Evans Matched!

We are so proud of my "oldest" little brother who will be in NC for his Intern year and Residency! He got his very 1st choice! He will be an Intern at a hospital in Greensboro and doing his residency back at Wake Forest. He is specializing in Ophthalmology. We were so happy to be there for the unwrapping of the envelope, followed by a nice luncheon at Wake Forest University. We are so proud of you Mike!

FunDay-FriDay!

This past Friday I got a call from a dear friend/cousin that she was off on a drive into the desert to take her kids. I asked her, "Are you dropping them off or just visiting?" :) You see she has twins and triplets and is such an amazing mommy. Lets just say I do not know how she does it and does it so well! I can't imagine how every day is to her....but with that said, I had to Join in on the fun, I love adventures and jumped into the car with my girls + 1 friend and off we were to the desert! We had a picnic and went almost into Superior, it is the Boyce Thompson Arboretum http://arboretum.ag.arizona.edu/ It was beautiful. The weather couldn't be better. It was magical, really. We had a great time. Too bad my cell phone had NO service and I couldn't find Christina until we were leaving. Darn! But we will be back again.

Thanks To Shannon,Irma,Susan,Kristin,Jess who helped me and loaned out many many things to make the night festive! We had a fantastic time! OLE!

Carys' Class Christmas Party!

Carys had her class family Christmas party Thurs. the 17th. Madison and I had so much fun going to 6 centers with games, treats, and fun Christmas activities to make. We just love her class!

Carys' 1st Piano Recital

Carys had her 1st piano recital on Dec.5, 2009 We love her piano teacher Jackie Sharp! She played Jolly old St. Nicolas and did a wonderful job. She is a natural performer. We are so proud of her, thanks to Nana and Tata for buying a years worth of lessons for her 5th Birthday present. What a great gift!

Thanksgiving 2009

This Thanksgiving we started the day with Cinnamon Rolls made by mommy and we watched the Macy's day parade. Daddy played in a couple turkey bowls and thankfully made it home alive to enjoy some turkey. We ate tons of food at my moms this year and enjoyed the rest of the day playing card games and checking all the ads for good deals for Black Friday. We had a great day and are thankful for all of our many blessings!

JDRF 2009!
